Kira Chathli is a professional cricketer for the South East Stars, regular player for Surrey and played for the Oval Invincibles in their second winning season in 2022.

Her cricketing career began, as so many do, watching and playing with family and friends. Having attended an introductory course aged 8, Kira was encouraged by Ebony Rainford-Brent to trial for Surrey County U11’s Girls team. This access to quality coaching allowed her passion to develop into a playing career and she is looking to similarly inspire the next generation of cricketers.

Alongside her own career Kira has been coaching for Dulwich Cricket Club since she was 17 and holds the ECB Level Two Qualification. Now, as Head of Women’s and Girls Cricket at the club and co-founder of NLCA, Kira aims to provide greater access to quality coaching for girls.

Remi is a Level 3 Advanced Coach and ECB Coach Scholar with experience working across Kent County Age Groups Pathway, South East Stars Pathway, ACE Charity Programme and several clubs around South East England.

His specialism lies in coaching for performance and he ensures all sessions have equal demands of challenge and fun to create an environment where each player feels supported, included and seen.

Remi still plays cricket now in the Kent League but enjoys the coaching life far more.

"I enjoy coaching at all levels still as it presents different challenges and helps me build upon my coaching toolkit and resource. I believe strongly that coaching is personal and not all players learn the same, therefore it's integral that I get to know them and allow players to find their own solution via my support. I've worked with several players, including professionals, and the same mantra applies: one size does not fit all! Each journey is individual and I really look forward to working with your girls and helping them on the way”

Rhianna Southby represents the Oval Invincibles in The Hundred, the Southeast Stars, Surrey as well as Ashford CC as a Wicketkeeper/batter. Rhianna's father played an important part in her young cricketing career and she fondly remembers her first games for Ashford with him walking around the boundary supporting her.

Rihanna's friendly, outgoing nature is perfect for nurturing the young children we coach. Furthermore, she has a vast knowledge of professional cricket and is a great person to talk to about your own career. She cannot wait to help bring the new generation of young female cricketers to the Next Level.

Sebastián is a Core Coach with over 5 years experience working with a variety of age groups, both boys and girls. Throughout this time he has continued to develop his coaching skills and expand his knowledge. With a cricketing career which began in the back garden practicing with his brother, it was formal coaching that would prove to be key to inspiring his love of the game, ultimately culminating in a place in the Dulwich College 1st XI.

At the same time as developing through school, Sebastián was a member of his local club, Dulwich Cricket Club. Having played for a number of teams, including the Development and Academy squads, Sebastián now fulfills a mentorship role, nurturing the young cricketers, preparing them for the adult game. Additionally, he oversees the All Stars coaching at the
club where it is Sebastián’s passion to encourage more children from a wider variety of backgrounds to join the cricketing family.

“Alongside my Level 2 Qualification, I have attended supplementary courses in disability awareness as well as specialist fielding & wicket-keeping, and I look forward to helping develop grass roots cricket by providing our community with greater opportunities to reach higher standards.”

It is this desire to progress the game for all that led Sebastian to co-found Next Level Cricket Academy.

After coaching at a number of clubs in Kent, including Hayes and Bromley CC, Lottie currently coaches at Streatham & Marlborough CC along with Dulwich CC, where she is responsible for helping to develop the women & girls section at each respectively.

Lottie grew up around cricket with her dad, starting at Old Elthamians before progressing to Kent, for whom she represented from 2012 to 2016. Lottie still loves to play regular cricket as 1st XI Women’s captain at Hayes CC and for the 40-club, where she became the first female player to get a 5fer!

Lottie is passionate about changing the game for the future generation of girls by creating an environment in which they feel comfortable to be active and competitive amongst themselves. By removing the stigma around girls playing competitive cricket she hopes to inspire them to take up the game she loves.
